UN ESTUDIO SOBRE LAS ACTITUDES HACIA LA ESTADÍSTICA EN ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS

El objetivo de este trabajo es reportar los resultados obtenidos al aplicar la Escala de Actitud hacia la Estadística (EAE) a una muestra no aleatoria de 392 estudiantes de diferentes carreras de la Universidad de Sonora en el semestre 2014-2 que cursaban la materia de estadística. Alrededor de un 60% manifiestan una actitud favorable o muy favorable hacia la estadística y solo un 4.3% desfavorable. No se encontraron diferencias significativas en el puntaje total de la escala de los estudiantes de esta muestra en función del sexo ni por división. Los resultados reportan una correlación positiva baja pero significativa (r = 0.323, p < 0.05) entre el puntaje de la actitud y la calificación en el curso.
