NUEVAS TECNOLOGÍAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN Y LA COMUNICACIÓN (NTIC) Y LA AUTO-FORMACIÓN EDUCATIVA

En este trabajo se presentan algunas características del impacto de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (NTIC) en la formación académica de la comunidad estudiantil de la Universidad de Sonora. En particular, vamos a ilustrar algunas de las habilidades y actitudes que se requieren desarrollar, tanto en profesores como en estudiantes, para tener acceso al informacionalismo y eventualmente aprovechar sus ventajas en el mundo. Exponemos también algunas de las herramientas que la WEB 2.0 ofrece para favorecer la auto-formación educativa. Adicionalmente, ilustramos el caso de la Universidad de Sonora, la cual tiene actualmente la materia de Introducción a la Nuevas tecnologías de la Información y la comunicación en el Eje de Formación de Tronco Común y cuyo propósito es introducir a los alumnos de nuevo ingreso al uso de las NTIC con propósitos educativos.
