Las empresas que desean seguir compitiendo, están obligadas a generar condiciones de sustentabilidad para crear valor para todos los involucrados en la organización. La aplicación del conocimiento y su expresión en aprendizaje organizacional ofrece un conjunto de soluciones para lograr esa sustentabilidad, estas son, medir el verdadero valor generado por la organización con la metodología de contabilidad de activos intangibles; realizar el cambio organizacional más adecuado para competir de acuerdo a un diseño organizacional de tipo evolucionista y gestionar el conocimiento con plataformas tecnológicas de tipo informático y de tipo humano.
