Section Policy
- The Epistemus Journal of the University of Sonora has 2 main sections, the Research section and the Dissemination section, for each of them the following policies are presented.
Research
Is mainly based on results of research projects and requires showing the methodology of the process.
Must contain:
a. Introduction, b. Objective, c. Problem statement, d. Work methodology, e. Results, f. Discussion, g. Conclusions, h. Minimum extension of 3000 words and 5000 maximum of body, i. 4 authors maximum, j. With a solid bibliographic support (10 - 50 references), include DOI if possible.
Dissemination
The section publishes articles written in a common language understandable to most readers on various subjects of popular interest and current events, distributed in 3 subcategories that are:
- From the academy. It includes topics related to academic work, development of problems, topics of academic life and its relationship with the environment.
- Science and Technology Policies. It includes topics that have to do with the analysis of science and technology policies, the relationship between research and development, innovation and public policy.
- Science, Technology and Society. It is about promoting a scientific, technological, health and society culture, addressing various specific topics that invite to reflection and / or analysis to understand knowledge.
Must contain:
- Introduction, b. Objective, c. Problem statement, d. Work methodology, e. Results, f. Discussion, g. Conclusions, h. Minimum extension of 2500 words and 4000 maximum of body, i. 5 authors maximum, j. With a solid bibliographic support (10 - 50 references), include DOI if possible.
It is possible that both sections can accept more words as long as it is justified and the context of the article is not lost.
