The pedestrianization of strategic streets in the historic downtown of Hermosillo is proposed with the aim of transforming selected routes into pedestrian areas through a thorough study that includes strategic points. This analysis focuses on creating safe, accessible, and efficient streets. The scope of the project includes defining the intervention and formulating recommendations tailored to the reality of the city's historic downtown area, with the aspiration to position itself as a reference study for future research related to this subject. It is anticipated that the execution of this project will generate a series of social, economic, and environmental benefits, bringing positive changes to the structure of the study area. The initiative aims not only to improve mobility and security in the area, but also to contribute to local economic development and promote sustainable practices.
